Brainstorm Innovative Technologies, LLC is a Tampa Bay firm, built on 20+ years of hands-on experience engineering and managing corporate networks. We bring that background to the businesses and families of the bay area: enterprise-grade thinking, delivered at small-business scale, explained in plain English.
Today that means more than keeping computers healthy. We secure networks, run servers, design and host websites, build mobile and web apps — and we lead our clients into the AI era with automation that gives real hours back every week. Founder
Founded by Shane Metzler
Brainstorm Innovative Technologies was founded by Shane Metzler (opens in a new tab), a Tampa Bay technologist who has spent his career on the security side of the field — first with a badge, then with a keyboard.
Before founding Brainstorm, Shane spent a decade in law enforcement. That background is the reason security isn't an afterthought here: he has seen first-hand how people actually get taken advantage of, and he builds every network, server, and system to keep his clients off that list. He backs it with a graduate education in the field and a hands-on GIAC certification — the practitioner credential, earned by doing, not just testing.
